The Power of Thanks!

Gratitude is the feeling of being thankful. It’s a way of reminding yourself of what’s good in your life—and the world!
But it’s not just something to practice on a certain holiday. People who are grateful on a regular basis have . . .
A Longer, Happier Life
Less Stress
Better Sleep
More Self-Confidence
Ready to Try It? Here Are 3 Easy Ways to Practice Gratitude.
1. Put It on Paper. Before bed, write a short list of what you’re thankful for that day. Maybe it’s your favorite T-shirt, your dog’s snuggles, and the tacos you had for lunch.
2. Text Your Friends. Tell them why they’re important to you. Do they always make you laugh? Are they good listeners?
3. Volunteer. Pick up trash in your neighborhood. Donate old blankets to an animal shelter. Showing your community you care can feel amazing.
WRITE ABOUT IT! Think about someone you’re grateful for and write that person a letter telling them why.
